leme minerals exploration seminar
TUESDAY 28 AUGUST 2007
Australian Resources Research Centre
26 Dick Perry Avenue, Kensington (Technology Park, Perth) WA
LEME research is highly relevant to mineral explorers interested in making informed and cost-effective decisions when assessing the prospectivity of regolith dominated terrains.
LEME researchers use their expertise in regolith geoscience to understand the mechanisms by which surface expression of mineralisation can form in a variety of Australian environments.
Convenor: RAVI ANAND, Program Leader: Mineral Exploration in Areas of Cover. CRC LEME, CSIRO Exploration and Mining - ravi.anand@csiro.au
** Commemorative address by Dr Ravi Anand, 2006 CSIRO-CRC LEME Butt Smith Medallist. This medal is awarded every two years in recognition of outstanding and sustained contribution linking regolith science to exploration in Australia.
