Regolith-landform Maps

Regolith-landform maps have been produced at various scales as demonstration products, or as adjuncts to regionally focussed projects. They variously incorporate the Residual-Erosional-Depositional (RED) scheme for simple cycles, or the RTMAP scheme for complex cycles.

  • AUD $55.00 (incl. GST) + P&P

These maps characterise the distribution of regolith materials and their relationships to landforms in the Mount Gipps, Pinnacles and Tibooburra Inlier areas. They will be beneficial to any mineral explorers or land managers working in these regolith dominated areas.

Waharatta regolith-landform map 1:25,000

  • released November 2002
  • AUD $55.00 (incl. GST) + P&P

Triple Chance regolith-landform map 1:25,000

  • released June 2001

Following on from the success of the Balaclava 1:25,000 regolith-landform map, these four new maps continue the series of regolith-landform maps in the Broken Hill area. These characterise the sediments, weathered rock and indurated material in a challenging exploration area that is essentially outcrop-poor.

Kinalung West-Quondong West regolith-landform map 1:25,000

Balaclava regolith-landform map 1:25,000

  • released September 2000
  • AUD $55.00 (incl. GST) + P&P

The Balaclava 1:25,000 Regolith-Landform map is the first of a series of detailed surface maps in the Broken Hill area. The map characterises the sediments, weathered rock and indurated material in a challenging exploration area that is essentially outcrop-poor.
